"We had a great 5-night stay at Southern's Beauty1! The property was very clean, quiet and convenient. Check-in and out was a breeze. The gated private parking was definitely an added benefit! The location was ideal for our event (Bar Exam) at the Ponchartrain Center. Sam was a wonderful host, and we would definitely stay here again!!!"

"No privacy! Window covering fell during first night. Called customer service stated maintenance wouldn’t be in until after 12pm. I asked for a expected time for repair, they could not give that to me. It was not fixed that day nor during the rest of my stay. My room was on the front of the building and street light was shining into my window the entire time. I was extremely tired each day and couldn’t fully rest. "The location was just right not too close not too far. We walked everywhere. Felt safe in all the neighborhoods. Loved the washer and dryer availability. Spent some time on the rooftop. We were right next to the freeway but couldn’t hear it inside. The only thing we missed was another chair in the room, that would have been nice. Checkout was a breeze and the extra amenities in the lobby were great. We didn’t partake in any of shots that were in the lobby but it was a great setup. Would do it...

"Everything was ok for the most part however / WiFi didn't work, blow dryer didn't work. The bed was missing a box spring and therefor sagged like a giant bowl and was very difficult to sleep on because of that."

"This place was really awesome it was just the wife and I and there were many places just to walk to and it’s right across the street from the convention center so it is very accessible to multiple places the technology there is really cool you get greeted by a live person but she is on a television and she greets you every morning so I strongly suggest the Sexton"

"This place is lovely. My daughter and I spent a weekend visiting friends in the area. The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable. I loved the giant shower. The hotel is right on the hike and bike path and very easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. I will absolutely stay here again next time I visit Abita Springs."
