"We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived, there was a water leak from a ceiling window and a gap that allowed rain and snow inside. The leak and window were fixed right away, which we appreciated, but we still experienced a very loud, constant noise from the vent above the stove that kept us up, and maintenance said nothing could be done. "Cue little place to crash for one night in Chicago. Neighborhood is very nice and parking on the street was not an issue. Entry was easy, owner was communicative. The only issue I had was getting connected to the wifi, my phone was not able to connect to it for whatever reason even after I put in the provided password but it was not a big deal for me personally. "This is an extended stay. The hallways and elevator are filthy. The room had a terrible smell, although I think it was pretty clean--the smell coming from the air conditioner was a mix of what seemed like cigs and pooh. The front desk staff was so nice that I did not complain. I only stayed one night, however, as my daughter was moving into a property in Chicago, our reason for travel, and she let me stay with her on what ould have been my second night.
