"What a lovely historic hotel! We love all the little touches like the “classic” refrigerator and the modern creature comforts packaged within a lovely hotel with “old school” touches. Just what we needed. "

"Upon check in the guy at the front desk was very short. Called to make sure our room was ready, handed us the key and walked away. Didn’t explain times of breakfast, when pool closes, etc. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, however, not enough wash clothes for the 4 of us. Breakfast was good, the lady in charge of the breakfast was so accommodating and kind. So was the lady working the front area. Checkout was fast and pleasing. Will def be back! "

"The Lodge is currently under construction. At check in, staff offered me (without asking) an upgrade to a beautiful Lakeside room. Much appreciated!"

"Room was clean beds are old and sink to the middle. Breakfast was supposed to have biscuits and gravy but when we asked if more gravy was coming we were told NO with 45 minutes left till service was complete. "
