"Communication was excellent. Location was great for what adventures we had planned. The basement apartment had everything we needed. The two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom was well equipped. "This cabin was the perfect escape! It struck the ideal balance between comfort and nature- exactly what you'd want fora relaxing stay at Alpine Lake. The home was incredibly well-stocked with everything from towels and dishes to cleaning supplies, spices, and extra linens. It made settling in so easy. "Great stay, cabin had everything we needed and the firewood on property was nice. Plenty of room for the dog to roam outside and we left tick free, which is always a plus. Park bench in front of your personal falls went great with the morning coffee. Blackwater falls was a fun trip. The path down is on the back side of the parking lot beside the snake shop. "We were in town for a celebration of life. It was s nice stress reliever to enjoy the fire pit, outdoor lights and s'mores on Saturday evening. We appreciated the detailed instructions on finding and accessing the property. We would visit again and tell others about it! Thank you."

"This property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well stocked for a large family. The house itself feels very private because the cabins are spread apart. We went swimming at the beach, rented kayaks, went about 25 minutes away to Oakland, MD to Swallow Falls State Park and Deep Creek Lake. So much to do and everyone from grandma to the teenagers to the 1 year old had a blast. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and couches are comfortable. Lots of towels. Would highly recommend "

"Perfect for our Rest and Relax vacation. Very quiet area with lost of wild life present. The Mountains are Happy Place and Deer Ridge didn't disappoint. Hope to say again next year."

"The family had a great time. The cabin was beautiful and clean with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The mornings were greeted with the sound of the Three Fork Creek flowing as you sipped your coffee. Very relaxing. We explored West Virginia and ended our day at Laurel Lodge with a fully equipped kitchen for dinner, campfire and s’mores bye the creek. So far the best family trip ever."

"Had a guys weekend away. The home was a perfect home base. The resort had everything we needed for a great weekend (golf course, bar, restaurant, perfect fall weather). Terra Alta is also a wonderful little mountain town with great coffee and beer. May need to look into purchasing a home in Alpine Lake."
