"Great little place with a great view of Moosehead Lake and Mt Kineo! Super clean and just right for my husband and me for three nights. Good spot for going out and exploring (drove Golden Road and scenic byway near Mt Katahdin, hiked Mt Kineo, watched moose near Greenville). Ate dinner at nearby Rockwood Bar & Grill. Excellent!"

"From the start Ryan was very friendly at check-in Offered a great place to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from the floor to ceiling windows was so beautiful. You could almost see the entire 40 miles of Moose Head Lake. the continental breakfast was a little light, but all food was fresh. I would recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a fantastic view and friendly staff. "

"Really cozy room, the kind I would’ve liked to have for a week ! A bit old but perfect. Didn’t see anyone from the staff since it was self-check-in, but it was easy to navigate."

"This was a stopover on our way to northern Maine. It is very nice and I wish we could have stayed a bit longer, but we needed to move on. Pet friendly and well kept. Easy access and the staff communicated well through emails."

"Such a breath of fresh air to stay in a place that felt like home. And what a beautiful home at that! My mom stayed here in the 1980s and we wanted to retrace her steps. Couldn't have had a better experience. Guilford, ME is a treasure and should become a destination spot when visiting the North Woods! "
