Welcome to Lindsay Hideaway, a stunning 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom property that has been beautifully renovated. Nestled on 20 acres, this retreat offers complete privacy and tranquility. Enjoy picturesque gardens that frame the property and the inviting swimming pool, along with two outdoor entertaining areas complete with BBQs. The spacious balcony seamlessly connects to the pool, making it an ideal spot to unwind with a glass of exquisite Hunter Valley wine as you watch the sunset.
Perfect for extended families, multiple families, friends, or colleagues, the accommodation comprises two queen bedrooms and two king bedrooms. Enjoy the comfort of both indoor and outdoor fireplaces and air conditioning. Lindsay Hideaway is pet friendly. Please help yourself to the fresh eggs laid by our hens for breakfast.
Lindsay Hideaway is just a 15-minute drive from the beautiful wineries of Pokolbin and Lovedale, making it a perfect base for exploring the region.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and embrace the fresh country air in this beautiful setting.

Our property is currently home to 2 horses, Maverick (Retired Racehorse), and George Palomino (Rescue). 2 Cows, Rocky and Moo and our Chickens.

Lindsay Hideaway is just a 15-minute drive from the beautiful wineries of Pokolbin and Lovedale, making it a perfect base for exploring the region.

*Whether you book for 2 guests or 8, you have the complete house and property to yourselves offering complete privacy with no neighbours in site.

Loved it. House is clean and pretty. Outside is so lovely and filled with birdsong. Around the house we could even go bare feet. Feeding the animals was fun. I truly don’t have a bad thing to say about staying there. I loved it. And will be back.

What an incredible stay we had at Lindsay Hideaway.A farm retreat experience/resort villa style feel that includes farm animals to feed, beautiful country landscape overlooking dams with kangaroos, but still with a beautifully decorated house that feels like stepping into a restort style villa including multiple areas to eat, rest and play.The private pool was a standout as was how well stocked the kitchen was with utensils, plates, pots pans etc that meant any eat on option was a possibility.But who needs to eat in when the place is right in the heart of the Hunter Valley with multiple wineries and eateries within a 10 min drive.If that wasn’t enough, the place is also pet friendly with very secure gates to ensure our golden retriever puppy was safe and secure at all times.The communication from the owner was great with simple easy to follow instructions.It really was the perfect place to relax and unwind.We will definitely book again.

Just an amazing house and property. So many lovely views and places to lounge about / sit. Dogs loved the large fenced area to run around, even though they were small enough to fit under the gates ( mini schnauzers). The farm animals were a delight ( fresh eggs!) and loved watching the dozen kangaroos come in of an afternoon. The design and decoration of the house is so thoughtful, it makes it a comfortable luxury place to be. Could have stayed for much longer, one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! Close to all the hunter valley wineries and tours too, also just 10min drive to shops / groceries.

Secluded and relaxing

I am so glad we found Lindsay’s hideaway, I have stayed at several retreats, LH has the best value and is the best place to stay with your furry family! It has fantastic outdoor space with many undercover areas and we had a great time roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit! The ground is very well maintained my senior girl had a blast exploring around. The highlight of the stay was definitely meeting the resident animals, we had so much fun feeding the horses, George and Maverick were very friendly and loved our bread, I am missing them already!

Amazong private hideaway.

This place is beautiful. Better than the photos suggest. Kids loved feeding the animals and collecting fresh eggs.Only thing i could pick at is tv was abit old couldnt get youtube or netflix to work so wasnt kuch to do at night. But we could oook past that.

Beautiful home

Highly recommend Lindsay's hideaway as a home away from home. All amenities you can think of is supplied here from coffee machine and pods, to milk, linen, board games for the kids to play etc. There's nothing they did not think of which is amazing. All bedrooms are large so is the main bathroom. We all enjoyed feeding the horses and cows, and collecting eggs in the morning. It was a beautiful experience. The pool is the icing on the cake, clean and was welcomed on the hot summer days of our stay.Deidre was very responsive, all questions answered and instructions easy to follow!Can not recommend this house enough! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing

This property exceeds expectations in every way. Tastefully decorated with everything you could need, the house is super comfortable and generously furnished with thoughtful touches, especially in the kitchen. From the pool to the multiple outdoor seating areas including an outdoor kitchen and fire pits, we were blown away by how much it has to offer. Deirdre was great to deal with and for anyone travelling with dogs, this property is a total dream come true - huge, fully fenced and truly welcome, I'll definitelynve back! overall

Great location near the wineries. Absolutely fabulous house with a nice country / solitary feel. Great to get away from it all and still enjoy family together, the local wineries and eating out if that’s what you want. I cannot fault the house and grounds with plenty of options to enjoy time with others or on your own.

Amazing Property

This was my second stay at Lindsay’s Hideaway and it was even better this time around. The house is so well equipped with beautiful comfy beds with beautiful linen, comfy lounge room and amazing entertaining areas. The grounds are beautiful and the animals are lovely to visit. Stunning property!

We had an amazing getaway! The property had everything we needed and more. So much space for us and our little dogs - we’ve all come home relaxed and refreshed! Plenty to explore on the property, the pool was amazing to cool down in every day and before bed, feeding the friendly horses and cows, and collecting freshly laid eggs for breakfast from the chickens. Only short drive away to local breweries for lunch. Highly recommend, thank you for having us!
