"Pleasant hosts who are helpful. Clean, spacious cottage with a well-supplied kitchen and comfortable king size bed. Private parking next to the cottage is convenient. We had some difficulty with the heat because it is on timers. We find that inconvenient. Our only other problem was a slight but persistent sewer odor in the bathroom. "

"Overall the stay was great. Perfect location for the drive to many close beaches. The lodge was clean and comfortable perfect for a short break. The only thing we would recommend is the number of the lodge and campsite name be added to the booking information as we found it difficult to locate. Other than that thank you for a pleasant stay."

"Very quiet and welcoming location, not far from Camel ford for eating out and shops. The Serval cats were lovely to see, the horse loved a smooth, the tiny doggy was fierce and funny in a Christmas jumper. The hut was clean and had a microwave and air-fryer, toaster etc, we were welcomed with scones, cream, jam and a box of chocolates. Lovely place to get away to. "

Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. If you plan on being in this part of Cornwall, you should definitely book this home. Geoff & Jan are wonderful hosts."

"Just returned home after a lovely week’s break at this property. Great location just off the beach at Porth. On arrival, we followed instructions to access building using key codes. No problems getting in. We had been allocated a dog friendly apartment at the back of building on ground floor. Sadly, no view of the beach but we did find it quiet and well suited to our needs. "The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful. Our whole holiday was just perfect we didn't want to leave. We would love to see the owner again and love that part...
