"Very friendly and efficient staff who go the extra mile to make sure their guests are happy. The breakfast was great with so much to choose from and hot food was presented speedily."

"Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!"

"Absolutely fantastic experience. We were very late to check in after an evening golf round ran late and the owner was there waiting for us personally. Rooms are excellent and view of the harbor is amazing. Owner is also an executive chef so we dined there one night and is was incredibly good. Must stay if you’re in Newquay!"

"The bed was very comfortable had a nice sea view and also a portable fan. Cannot comment on breakfast or dinner as eat out. Plus side there was a lift"

"The staff was friendly and polite. Our double room was small and clean. However, the bed (room 29) was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. It was very soft and we could feel the springs sticking into us. We ended trying to sleep on top of the duvet. We would have asked to be moved but had travelled all day to get to Newquay and were exhausted. When reporting this to Reception the next morning we were told that all the mattresses were new!"

"Clean, nice room for a single person. My private bathroom was Cosy. The staff's were above and beyond the call of duty. They worked hard to maitain good standards. Everyone was happy with their stay that i saw. Wish I'd gone to the bar there looked fantastic the morning after a party look. I missed it. Would definitely stay again. Want a double room next time. All the rooms have private bathrooms, this is not a back packers hostel, they are families rooms."

"When we arrived there was nobody at reception to check us in so had to ring the main office then someone did turn up.We had to use 3 flights of steep stairs with a heavy door to open at the top as the lift was out of order.The room on the 3rd floor (314) smelt musty,Carpet worn away by the bedroom door showing the gripper rod and nails,Wall was damaged in a couple of places,Mattress had no protector on it, Staff said they didn't have one when I asked for one,TV damaged screen,Room hot and when I...

"We loved The Nici hotel i Newquay! The staf was amazing, clean and nice room, and the location was perfect. The hotel had only been open for a month when er were there, so the pool was not ready yet. But we got a free massage and the kids could have a free surfinglesson if they had wanted to. It is close to everything in town, so we walked everywhere. We really liked this hotell, and would stay there again if we're coming back to Newquay!"
