"We booked for 3 nights and really loved our stay. Very comfortable, fresh, clean room and large bathroom with a wonderful power shower and loads of hot water. Easy code entry door, lovely entrance hall, amazing breakfast and such friendly, helpful staff. We often felt like the only guests as no noise disturbance. "This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....
