"Please don’t hesitate in booking this property. It was immaculate and the amenities far exceeded other properties I have stayed at. Plenty of paper products, towels and kitchen supplies. The owner has supplied everything you need, even throw blankets for the sofas when you want to cozy up in the cute living room. The king bed was extra comfy. Would absolutely stay here again."

"My daughter and I stayed here while we attended an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It is conveniently located and in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses and green paddocks. John and Debbie are very friendly and helpful. Was lovely to see all the fouls that were born in the weeks before we got there."

"My husband and I stayed at this cabin while visiting The Ark and other attractions in the area. It was perfect for us in every way. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Although we did not do much cooking, it appeared all cooking utensils were provided. Donny was a wonderful host and checked with us every day to see if we needed something. This place is a 👍"

"The house was very cute and comfortable. We had the basics as needed in the apartment. The beds and linen made for a good night sleep. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. The drive from Lexington was so scenic. Definitely check out Wallace Station Deli right down the road. I would recommend this place to others traveling to the area."

"This was a great location for visiting the Ark Encounter. Perfect size for our family of 4, giving each teen kid their own space. We’re used to one bathroom so that wasn’t a deal breaker, but it’s rather on the small side. We appreciated the text a couple hours before check in giving our access code, providing us with a point of contact for our stay."

"This was a clean and accommodating cottage on an absolutely beautiful farm property. The sunsets were amazing! It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the cows, pigs, barn swallows by day and frogs and fireflies by night. Very convenient location to the Ark Encounter. We enjoyed eating at Beans cafe & bakery for breakfast. We would highly recommend this beautiful little gem in the countryside."

"Definitely a good place to wind down. Woke up on the second morning to several cows and a few calf’s at the fence. I was so excited, but know to respect their space. It woke up early every morning just to see if they were there. Sat on the porch every evening and enjoyed the sounds of farm life in the distance. Thank You!"

The TV only had Roku, so any network TV, such as watching the World Series at night, couldn't be done. I've stayed at other VRBOs and they were upfront about the TV channels access. "My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location is fantastic; it is outside if town, with rural appeal, but just minutes from restaurants and shopping. Its a sweet cottage that has everything you need and is wonderfully furnished and decorated. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. "This is a fantastic house, great for a couple freinds or a pair of couples. The bedrooms are large, beds comfortable, and decent baths in each. The common room is spacious and the kitchen updated and modern. Location is great to walk downtown to restaurants and other shops. The one downside is the train. Train runs through Shelbyville all/most nights and blows its horn for several minutes each time. We didn’t notice the earplugs on the table in the entryway until cleaning up at checkout. It...

"We loved staying here for an event just over the bridge in Cincinnati. It is clean, in a safe neighborhood, and steps from a marketplace. The little village also has nice restaurants. The beds were all very comfortable, the front porch was nice to sit out on, surrounded by beautiful forestry, and Clean with all the amenities you will need. Highly recommend."
