"We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint."

"They greeted us when we arrived and taught us the history of the property. The cottage was a great place to stay and we loved the grill and fire pit!"

"We loved the location of the property and the friendliness of the host. The kitchen has adequate utensils. This was not the easiest place to locate, but the host helped with a great description of how to find it. We felt Expedia misled us when they indicated linens were provided when they definitely were not. Since this was our only booking requiring this it was a bit of a hassle to bring our own sheets, blanket, and pillows for a two night stay."

"My goodness, what a beautifully designed and excellently crafted little place. We were snug and comfortable in somewhat stormy weather. All the comforts of home. And such an airy and aesthetically delightful place. In addition, when I arrived, Phil showed up to get acquainted and talk fishing. Very nice welcome."

You will not be disappointed if you decide to visit!We arrived to some beeping in the cottage and discovered the CO2 detector was at the end of its life. I reached out to the host, Chris, and he went above and beyond to get us a replacement unit as quick as he could. Very pleased and impressed by his responsiveness.
