Overall, we really enjoyed our stay but only because of the setting. From my understanding this lodge/resort was sold fairly recently and is in the process of being updated. "The hotel itself was fine, my major complaint would be that we were on the second floor and there was no elevator. However, at this time - mid-June 2026 - there is EXTENSIVE construction going on on the main road (Paul Bunyan Rd). The entire street is dug up, making accessing the hotel very difficult.
