"The space is adequat in size, however there is only a single window in the combination LR/DR/Kitchen area. The bedroom have no windows. The space is clean, but rather musty, window had to be kept open to air it out. The picture of the rental unit shared was not representative of the space, in that it showed a balcony including a door leading to the balcony within living area. This was not included in the unit rented. The hall way entry to the elevator needs sprucing up, it is rather grubby....

"A true New Orleans experience in a historic, family-owned hotel Hotel Monteleone is the real deal. It's a historic hotel full of tradition, and the fact that it is still family owned shows in the details: the welcome, the care and the pride in the place. It gives you a genuine NOLA experience, not a generic hotel stay. The location is hard to beat, right in the heart of the French Quarter on Royal Street, within walking distance of restaurants, music and the main sights. Our room was beautifully renovated, comfortable and spotless, with all the charm of an old hotel and the comfort of a modern one. The drinks and food are a highlight in their own right. It's a perfect spot for a pre-night cocktail or a weekend brunch, and everything we had was delicious. The live shows were incredible and made the evenings feel special without ever leaving the hotel. Highly recommended. We would stay again in a heartbeat."
