"Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room."
"Very friendly and efficient checkin. Spacious clean room with very comfortable bed. No AC but fan provided in room due to warm weather. Very good cooked breakfast made to order, Excellent dinner in fine dining restraurant."
"Quiet, comfortable hotel. Great location for the beach. The staff were just lovely. Friendly and helpful. Decor a little dated but charming in an oldy woldy way. Nice breakfasts."

"Our visit to the NICI in Lymington came after a family bereavement and we were so incredibly lucky to meet Wendy from the NICI reception / conceirge team who gave us such a warm and compassionate welcome. "Very underwhelmed by our stay. We had room 122 for 4 nights. Bed was terrible - old and sunken, really uncomfortable. Battled spiders nightly. The worst was the shower - understanding that the hotel is really old and plumbing is tricky- we had zero water pressure unless the water was scorching hot. Like burn your skin hot. We notified the front desk but that was as far as it went. Thankfully the weather wasn’t hot - no fans or much air circulation with the small windows.
