"I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Nikko recently and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The location alone makes it worth the trip — right on Lake Chuzenji, with the mountains and waterfalls of Nikko all around. It feels super peaceful and completely different from the city vibe of Tokyo. Rooms The rooms are huge by Japanese standards and beautifully designed. Think modern but with lots of Japanese touches — sliding doors, deep soaking tubs, and big windows that frame...

"山奥なので心配していましたが施設は綺麗な状態で、露天風呂から見える景色がよく、また、食事もとても美味しかったです。仲居さんの対応も良かったです。 ただ、最近は温泉の出が悪い状況らしく、露天風呂は温度調節が必要でした。気温が高い季節であれば、気持ち良く長湯ができそうな感じでした。 周辺には観光施設は特にありませんが、大自然に囲まれているだけでも非日常感があってよかったです。市バスは頼めば、宿の入り口で止まってくれます。 前日に同じ価格帯の日光市内の旅館に泊まりましたが、満足感はこちらの方が強かったです。また泊まりに行きたいと感じさせてくれる宿でした。"

"The house is very lovely and clean. The most important touristic sites are nearby. Yoshiko, the host, is a very kind lady. She picked us up at the station and brought us to the house. She also left fruits, bread, orange juice, butter and yogurt for our breakfast. It was a wonderful stay."
