Point Pleasant Inn. Great place!!
We were going to my daughters college for family weekend. We booked our stay in July for October because we knew from past experience all the hotels book up fast in that area. When we got to Point Pleasant Inn they didn’t have our reservation. Hotels.com never sent our reservation to the Inn. They were booked solid. The woman Kristina was absolutely wonderful. She tried to set things right by contacting Hotels.com. But they didn’t help her or us at all. Kristina gave us refreshments and snacks while we waited. She offered us a 50% discount on our next stay. It wasn’t even their fault and she went above and beyond to help us. We waited for about 1 1/2 hours for Hotels.com to call me back with options. I never heard from them at all. Kristina told us to go have dinner with our daughter and she would stay in contact with us. She contacted us a short time later and said one of the guests was not coming. So she gave us the room. We were very lucky. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room and services were top notch! I plan on going back. To this day Hotels.com has not contacted me. Very poor on their part.
