"I visited in the off-season, but being in a hotel on the water was fantastic. I caught two beautiful sunsets the weekend I was there, and from the back parking lot of the hotel, you can walk to the embankment of yard where it meets the Bogue Sound. My hotel room was great; breakfast was good. My only minor issue is that the pillows were not as solid as some others I've slept on at Hilton/Hampton hotels, but that's an easy fix: bring your own pillows. I shouldn't have assumed they'd be the same...

When we arrived we were informed for that the elevator was broken, the ice machine was broken, we had no hot water in our shower, and the building was in poor condition. What we paid for this stay was robbery. The only reason this hotel kept Our business is because there's nothing else near. Avoid this place if you can."
