"Had a clean, well equipped and comfortable ground floor room in this welcoming hotel. Staff were so nice and food was excellent. Will certainly look forward to visiting again when in the area. Parking was great in lovely surroundings."

"Staff couldn’t do enough to help us. The room was impeccable quality. Our bed was comfortable, we loved the huge bath tub in the room and the welcome gifts and coffee machine added a nice touch. The only minor issues we found, was the room was extremely cold on arrival, however the room had its own thermostat which we were able to increase and quickly warm up the room. The automatic lights in the toilet and wash area were inconvenient in the middle of the night but easy to block out by closing...

"I had a lovely stay at The Three Shires Inn which is in the lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the countryside. Loved seeing the mountains and sheep. I would highly recommend."

Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help."

"Beautiful room exceptionally clean , Tracy very welcoming and given good information as too breakfast which again was beautifully cooked very attentive , checking in and checkout was a breeze plus having lock up parking off the street was a bonus , great location only think when busy yiu need to book restaurants in advance definitely recommend this guesthouse "

However, there’s no fridge to store food items, and Wi-Fi is NOT provided. In addition, there are only two power outlets in the room, which can be inconvenient if you need to charge several devices such as phones, tablets, power banks, or laptops.
