"Grand Marais is a quaint town, very friendly people. Many outdoor activities, sites to see. We especially enjoyed the view of the dunes from the Log Slide in the Pictured Rocks National Park. Carter's Cottage was very welcoming, clean and conveniently located!! We'd stay here again."

"We got this on short notice for 2 couples, and we were grateful to find a place. It would be ideal for a few more people at the price. Only complaints were only one bathroom and the bedrooms were pretty small. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay with spacious living area and game room downstairs."
