The county is currently conducting a beach renourishment project along portions of the shoreline that is expected to affect stays up until May, with possible minor extension into May due to weather delays. As crews move section by section, temporary equipment and sand pumping operations may be visible near this property. The work is temporary and helps strengthen and protect the beach and dunes, and nearby beach access is generally available around active work zones.

Ponce de Leon Towers is a direct oceanfront complex with 62, 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium units with 8 floors. Though Ponce de Leon Towers sits on the driving section of New Smyrna's white, sandy beach, this oceanfront complex is just 100 yards from the car-free beach. Amenities include a seasonally heated pool, community room with pool table and ping pong table, shuffleboard courts, and bar-b-que area with gas grill.

Located in the heart of our friendly little beach town, Ponce de Leon Towers is only minutes from all that New Smyrna Beach has to offer. This oceanfront complex is right next to the beautiful 27th Avenue Beachfront Park which is a 3.4-acre park including a boardwalk, basketball and racquetball courts, picnic area, pavilion, restrooms, and a children's playground. Across the street is a 7-11 walk-up restaurant serving tacos and ice cream! Within walking distance are Manny's Pizza and Chases on the Beach for oceanfront dining. It is within minutes of a shopping center with a Dollar General with a grocery, gym, several tasty restaurants, and a beachwear outlet.

The Canaveral National Seashore, one of the finest national seashore parks in the country, is only minutes away and offers a 57,000-acre national park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. It also features one of the longest stretches of pristine beaches in the United States. It's a must-see! There is a charge for entry.

Also within a short drive south is Bethune Park featuring a fishing pier, tennis, and basketball courts, beach volleyball court, and playground. Nearby JB's fish camp offers some of the best fresh seafood in town. Kayak rentals and paddle board tours are also available at JB's.
Shopping and dining are a must while in New Smyrna Beach. One-of-a-kind restaurants and boutiques can be found within a short drive or bike ride to Flagler Avenue beachside as well as downtown Historic Canal Street across the bridge.
