"We were there for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway, location was great. The breakfast was good and the bar and food area pleasant with outside space. Good free parking. The room was over priced it being small and an awkward shape with an over large bed. The very modern bedside lights did not work as they need to be charged to work! We were provided with 2 cooling fans to combat the hot weather a plus was the shower not a bath."

"Overall we had a great stay at the Ship Inn . Staff were lovely especially the male member of staff who served us in the restaurant with drinks and food . He went over and above to please had a wonderful friendly personality . A great asset to the team . Sorry we didn’t get your name . The down sides were the mattress in the Royal room needs replacing and we were kept awake until 1am by either an argument going on or very loud animated talking ! "Die beiden Zimmer der Suite waren sehr schön, leider funktionierte in einem der beiden Räume die Deckenbeleuchtung nicht. Wir hatten das am ersten Abend gemeldet, ein Handwerker kam am späten Nachmittag des nächsten Tages. Es gab wohl einen Kurzschluss, wenn eine der Brunnen Nachttischlampen eingeschaltet wurde. Die Lösung: Die Lampe nicht mehr einschalten. Abgesehen davon waren nur für 2 Gäste Handtücher vorhanden (wir waren 4). Erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen bekamen wir die fehlenden...

"Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. "I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place "
