Steps to the LaFitte Greenway!

North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Square (1.6 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.3 Miles), City Park (3.5 Miles), and Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.3 Miles).

Living space
The open living area is made for gathering, anchored by a 48-inch HDTV with standard cable, Netflix, Roku, and Hulu. High-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace with a door give you the flexibility to catch up on work or stream between adventures. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep every room comfortable no matter the weather outside.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms each offer a plush queen bed dressed with professionally cleaned linens, room-darkening shades for restful mornings, and a Smart TV for late-night viewing. Clothing storage includes walk-in closets, closets, and dressers, and the home sits on a single level with no interior stairs.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked for everything from quick breakfasts to full group meals. You'll find a GE stainless steel electric stove, a GE stainless steel single oven, a GE refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and a full set of cooking basics, dishes, and silverware. A drip coffee maker and French press keep mornings running smoothly, and extras like wine glasses, a toaster, and baking sheets are all on hand. Pull up a chair at the dining table and settle in.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms provide ample space for groups and families. Each is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, cleaning products, and hot water - everything you need without the packing stress. A bathtub is available for longer soaks after a full day out.

Outdoor living
The front porch is the perfect spot to ease into fall mornings with a coffee in hand, taking in the quiet greenway views as the neighborhood wakes up. Out back, a private patio and fully fenced backyard give you a peaceful place to decompress after a day in the city. Free street parking is available right out front, and self check-in via smart lock makes arrival effortless any time of day.

Family-friendly features
Traveling with young children? A pack 'n play/travel crib (sheets provided) and a folding high chair with padding, straps, and food tray are both available upon request. An in-unit washer and dryer handle the inevitable, and babysitter recommendations are available if you'd like a night out.

You're a 10-minute walk from the Superdome and steps from the renowned dining of Tremé. The French Quarter is just minutes away - putting Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras, the Sugar Bowl, and New Year's Eve celebrations all within easy reach. The Lafitte Greenway outside your door connects you directly to some of the city's best bike routes, neighborhood spots, and green space.
