Absolutely amazing classic shotgun style apartment/duplex in a great location in the Bywater neighborhood. Located on a quiet street, walking distance to great local restaurants, bars and shops. Apartment was clean, comfortable and fully appointed with all necessary amenities. Beds were so comfortable, ceiling fans in each bedroom made for comfortably cool nights. Jonathan was a perfect host, great communicator snd allowed for late check out so we could make the most of our time. Recommend breakfast at Elizabeth’s just a 5-10 min walk, and short neighborhood walks to Vaughn’s for drinks, Baccannal Wine Bar, St Germain’s Wine Bar or vintage shopping at Tiger Rag Vintage or Lowtimers. Short uber/Lyft to Magazine St, French Quarter, lower Garden District. Came for a girls-trip but perfect for a couples getaway - will definitely stay again!

we loved our stay here, the house had a great location, friendly hosts, a really good amount of space, all the basic amenities, and really good A/C, which was a lifesaver in the 90 degree weather. Only downside was that the wi-fi signal was pretty spotty, but we just worked from nearby cafes which was better anyway. Would 100% stay here again next time im in nola!

A perfect stay in NOLA! The place was well stocked with all the necessaries and decorated impeccably. The location was amazing. Close enough to the action without being right in the center of it all. Hosts were lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was wonderful and the home was historic and beautiful! What a great place! It was well stocked and had some little things you may have forgotten-like sunscreen! It was easy to make a meal in the large kitchen and wash up some clothes in the laundry room mid-week. It was our first time in New Orleans. We rode the Blue Bikes for 95% of our trip, planned ahead and took our helmets. Even biked to the grocery store nearby. There was a dock just a little over 1 block away. There were 4 of us, so sometimes we split up to get bikes. The next dock was only 3 blocks away. It was a perfect way to really see the city. There are docks in MANY places and an app that makes them easy to locate. Went to La Petite Clouette Coffee shop for fabulous pastries and quiche, Pizza Delicious with that crunchy crust bottom crust and The Country Club for amazing food and awesome entertainment!!!! The hosts were super responsive and helpful with any questions. There was soooo much more to see and do, in the Bywater neighborhood and in New Orleans! We will come back and stay right here for sure, it will feel like home

We had a cruise out of NOLA, and wanted to stay the night prior. This was the perfect location and the BEST night's sleep I have had in awhile. We wandered the area, got a pizza, enjoyed the beautiful home, and considered just staying there instead of cruising!!

We had a great stay at Jon and Dan’s place. They helped field a number of questions in the months leading up to our trip that I sent through VRBO messaging and were responsive by phone and messaging as needed throughout our stay. The house is a twin, both sides are vacation rentals, and year-round neighbors on the block were very welcoming and are friends with Jon and Dan. (A positive relationship with neighbors is the most important aspect of staying in a vacation rental).It is a shotgun house so all of the bedrooms are also hallways either to the kitchen and yard, bathroom, or living room and front door. (We were prepared for the limited privacy). The kitchen table has seating for only two people, and the backyard has a bigger 4-6 person table. You could probably bring extra chairs into the kitchen but it’s kinda tight and not a lot of food prep space, though there are plenty of utensils, dishes and basic tools (including bakeware).The location is so nice. Walkable to crescent park, across the street from the country club, near a park with a playground, and close to other great shopping, restaurants and bars, and cultural spots (beanlandia and Studio Be).We had a great stay and appreciate such thoughtful hosts and comfortable space.

Awesome stay for a long weekend!! Very safe and walkable to many spots in the Bywater and one can even walk along the river trail to the French Market and the French Quarter. Hosts were also very responsive and gracoius. Just note it is a shot-gun style bedroom set-up which is very comomon in Nola, and not a problem if you know your housemates. Would love to stay here again, thanks guys!

The property was great looking and set up well for families or couples (who know each other well); it’s a shotgun with doors between the rooms for privacy. The property was very clean and had everything we needed, including extra towels. Getting into the quarter was an easy walk and hopping a rideshare was also fast. If it is available, book this place in Bywater.

We book this location for our Christmas trip and it was wonderful! The neighborhood was beautiful and within walking distance to the downtown area, between 20-30 mins for us. The house was also beautiful and perfect for our family. We enjoyed it so much!

Love the Bywater and this place is perfectly situated. Spacious with high ceilings and very clean. It is a typical shotgun duplex situation and we were able to hear our neighbors when they got rowdy, but we were expecting that! The host is very responsive and kind, even mailing us the kindle my husband left under a pillow. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I just finished a 5 night vacation in the Bywater and we could not have been more pleased with this property. It was exactly as advertised, very clean and spacious, and had all the amenities anyone could need. The hosts were super nice and the location was excellent. I highly recommend this property and when we come back to the Bywater we will definitely stay here again.

Myself and two friends stayed for 5 nights here and it truly was the best block in the Bywater. Walkable to so many beautiful neighborhood spots, close to the French quarter, and a beautiful home to relax in. Dan was so responsive and accommodating! Would definitely stay again and recommend!
