A peaceful cabin retreat nestled on 95 acres of private woodland property. This locally-sourced oak-sided cabin offers natural serenity and is the perfect place to unplug and get away. This property boasts a totally private hot tub and fire pit area surrounded by acres of bamboo, exposed rock and woods. Enjoy a delicious beverage on the wrap around deck, with multiple sitting areas, the second story deck or in the amazing hot tub. Discover our exposed rock overhangs (a mini Hocking Hills) and visit our woodland pond (plenty of bass and bluegill). Naturalists study this area due to it's fantastic biodiversity.

This warm and inviting cabin is nestled in a private setting down a long, flat and accessible driveway.

This get away consists of three bedrooms: two bedrooms and a large master loft. The master loft has a king-size bed, bamboo flooring, it's own bathroom, private second story deck area and a sitting area for leisure reading. Downstairs, the "Bollywood bedroom" features queen-sized, silk sari-draped canopy bed with cozy, pillowy bedding. The second downstairs bedroom consists of a full-size bed and a twin bed and sleeps three comfortably.

The living room and dining area are surrounded by windows providing wonderful views of this private and scenic setting. The space is warm and inviting, clean and accommodating. It is perfect for a romantic getaway for two or for a memorable friends and family gathering. A fantastic choice for those visiting Ohio University, Athens or visiting to the Hocking Hills region.

There are so many wonderful things to do in the area. Take a left out of the long driveway and the road leads directly to Athens, Ohio and Ohio University (a 13 minute drive). The city of Athens features eclectic dining and features 22 pubs in the energetic uptown area alone. Ohio University is one of the most beautiful and oldest college campuses in the United States.

Take a right out of the driveway and arrive (a 23 minute drive) at Ash Cave in the gorgeous Hocking Hills State Park.

Cross the street and enter into Waterloo Wildlife Area featuring thousands of acres of natureā€™s bounty, fishing and public hunting. The historic and haunted Moonville tunnel is a nearby for a memorable experience. Horseback riding is available in the area at Uncle Bucks riding stable. Visit gorgeous Lake Hope Lodge for hiking, canoeing and an incredible dining experience (you have got to try the smores).

Great location for our weekend attending Nelsonville Music Festival! Close to both Hocking Hills and Athens. The cabin was just as described and the A/C was fabulous after long, hot days in the sun! Lauren was always reponsive and helpful. I would definitely stay again!

The house was perfect as we celebrated graduation. Quick drive to OU campus yet felt remote and peaceful. We brought in food and the house had all the amenities we needed to cook family meals. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit.

Great place to stay with lots of things to do at the property. The house is cozy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts are exceptional, came over to give us candles and a lighter when the power went out which was much appreciated. A very easy drive in to Athens with options for access to parks.

This is our second time staying here. The location is great and the place is so serene. We did not get to enjoy the outdoors since we spent most of our time at OU plus it rained....a lot. It is a beautiful place.

This is a great place near Hocking Hills and Athens! It's right off of SR 56 which provides easy access to both, but tucked away enough so that it still feels private. Intuitive layout, and 2 bathrooms are always nice. We didn't have any issues or complaints with our stay, and good communication with / from hosts. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

It needs a little yard work around the place it's March I understand just getting out of winter. The electrical system needs addressed. To many extension cords, fuses blowing and lights dimming or flickering when turned on. Needs a bit better cleaning of stove, lights, collectibles with a 100 cleaning fee Hot tub half worked with the jets and felt a little slimy on the sides in the water. Didn't smell any chlorine. We were told second set of keys were coming but they never did arrive. We ended up using a different door. We were really grossed out to find rugs were washed with the towels in the dryer. The house is cute and roomy enough for a few people which is nice if you have a lot of guest. That is a plus. Also two full bathrooms. Plenty of parking also.. niceiyohave5 or 6 peopliyiparty.was

This place is a lil heaven on earth. We waited a peaceful and relaxing weekend with our dog and that is exactly what we got. The cabin was great. The grounds were awesome and the trails were well thought out and you could tell they put a lot of work into making it so much fun. The hot tub was very relaxing. If youā€™re looking for a place to relax and enjoy this is definitely the place to go! 10/10. We will be back!

We had a very nice stay! The home was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities. The hot tub was lovely (even in 20-something degree weather!). My only complaint (more like constructive criticism) would be that there wasn't enough seating. The house sleeps seven, yet really, there's only enough (comfortable) seating in the living room for five to, for example, sit and watch a movie. A sectional would probably work better in the space. Also, 2-3 of the dining/kitchen chairs had broken braces, and we had to keep popping them back into the legs. We made sure the light-weights sat in those chairs, lol. Overall though, a very nice stay.

We enjoyed our girls trip. Location of the cabin was perfect to go to Ash Cave, Old Mans Cave, Moonville Tunnel and to OU Campus. We enjoyed the private hiking trails at the cabin too!

The property was beautiful. Quiet. A cardinal would come to visit at the window, which has a deeper meaning for me. The host, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Messaged back quickly and was very easy to talk to. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect spot if you are looking for something close to Hocking Hills but also want a place to relax with some privacy. We hiked during the day and came back to sit around the campfire (it is already set up with chairs & firepit) and enjoy the hot tub. The cabin was clean & decorated so homey. We have Verizon and there was no cell service at the cabin but the WiFi worked great and they had a home phone if needed. As long as your gps is up before you lose service you will have no issues getting there.

We rent this cabin every year for our annual family vacation. Our son, daughter, son in law and grandson stay here with us while my inlaws (including brother in law) rent the smaller one. Our cabin is the hub for all activity, it's plenty big enough for us all. The property has endless adventures for all 4 generations! Plus it's close enough to hocking hills and Athens if we want to roam we can, yet far enough away we're completely secluded! Can't wait to come back next year!
