Looking for a charming secluded log home in the Hill Country? Falls Log Home located on Smith Creek in Wimberley is the perfect relaxing getaway. This spacious log home provides picturesque views of the creek from every room (Note Smith Creek is a wet weather creek). Evenings can be spent relaxing under the stars in a private hot tub just outside the back door. With 2 bedrooms 1 bath, Falls Log Home will sleep 4 comfortably. Falls Log Home is only minutes away from the Wimberley town square but offers the seclusion of your own private hill country escape.

Guests will find Falls Log Cabin warm and inviting with rustic hill country decor. This log home offers all the amenities one could wish for or need for a family getaway. Enjoy the beautiful knotty pine ceiling, stately limestone rock wood burning fireplace, hardwood flooring and a fully stocked kitchen with everything one needs to prepare favorite meals. Cozy up on the sofa and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen television or enjoy a romantic evening by the fireplace. Shower in a full bath with a large vanity. Sleep soundly in the master bedroom that hosts a comfy king size bed with lovely linens. Guests will find the second bedroom offers a queen bed with comfortable linens. Guests also have access to the washing machine and dryer.

With Wimberley only a few minutes away, enjoy the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops in the town square. Adventurists will enjoy Jacobs Well, Blue Hole Regional Park, or Zip lining adventures. With so many wineries in the area, book a day of tasting the best wines the hill country has to offer. Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon. Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park also are filled with lots of fun. San Marcos Factory Outlet is fun for a day of endless shopping.

Need more gate location detail..FM address alone not sufficient. Had we arrived in the dark I would not have located the gate located some 50 yards or so to the left of the street address..You need to include info that the gate is on the gravel road to the left of the mail box and pavement exit.

The beds and linens are nice but the overall cleanliness needs improvement. Ceiling a/c vents have dirt/mold/ dust on them. Needs a good deep clean overall. Window sills and edges of floors need cleaning. Also need to replace front door lock. Hard to open. Very private location.

We had a great time. The house is nice with a great view. This sounds picky, but the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed no matter how hard we tried. We would stay here again.

The cabin was nice and quiet and close to all the wonderful shops, Blue Hole, and other must see locations in Wimberley.

Beautiful Cabin

We had a great time, location was amazing and cabin was beautiful. We were hoping the water was as in the picture so we could swim since it’s so hot out.. but that wasn’t the case. Overall, great experience!

It was fine

Cute place, liked the patio/deck and the hot tub, however the company managing was a bit weird. Check out at 10am? Never in my life have I seen that. The place was also ready hours before the 4pm check in but they didn't let us check in early when I know for a fact the place was ready at clean 3 hours before. They also wouldn't let us check out late claiming another person was coming for the 4pm check in that day, however me personally being a real estate broker.. I know that it doesn't take 6 hours to clean a 2 bedroom home where only one of the bedrooms was slept in, and kitchen hardly used. So I’d call that a bit ridiculous, and just felt the company as a whole didn't really value customer service. It was a cute place to stay but the way they treated me as a number and not a guest, I won't be entertaining properties with this company again.

Toilet issues

This could have been a 5 star rating except for the fact that we did not have a working toilet for the first 17 hours of our stay. (There was only one toilet) We arrived at 4:30, reported the nonflushing toilet within 15 min. They did not send someone to fix it until 9 am the next morning. This was beyond inconvenient! One of us is on diuretics which causes someone to have to urinate frequently. The problem could have and should have been fixed the same day it was reported. Refund of 65 was given but, that does not make up for the fact we had no restroom. We were told this isn’t a hotel. Well, I can tell you we have stayed in Bed and Breakfast and other accommodations for over 20 years and never had any issues like this. HORRIBLE customer service!!

Almost perfect!

This 'cabin' was fantastic! Very clean, very roomy, EXTREMELY comfortable and had everything we needed and more! Didn't do any cooking but from the looks of it, the cabin had everything! Oh, I could have used some kind of a 'pool net' to get all the pine/leaf debree out of the hot tub, but had no idea where to even look. I could only open one side of the cover because my temporarily disabled sister could not help and I did not expect to be able to get the cover back on by myself, so I only opened one half and still enjoyed it. Management Team (Hill Country Premeir Lodging) was very helpful before our arrival, sending a picture of what the property gate looked like from the road to help me find it, and when I first arrived late afternoon, to help me figure out how the 'door code system' worked, which was entirely my fault and once I had them on the phone I figured it out before they even had to explain, and they were very gracious not laughing at me when I felt like an idiot, lol. Wimberley is a great little hill country getaway with wonderful restaurants /bars and shopping. If anyone is a bird watcher, the area has the BEAUTIFUL Painted Bunting birds.The only thing that would have been better was if my sister didn't have a fractured knee, didn't have to wear leg brace and didn't need a 'walker' to get around so that we could have gone to some of the more natural pools and swimming areas. We will be back and can't imagine staying anywhere else when we do!

Construction work made driveway entrance very difficult . Iron would not heat properly and toilet was hard to do flush and continued running after use . I would not recommend this rental . The cabin itself was good . No scenery

Great Place, wrong address on listing

The cabin is great. Cozy and well-appointed.But, the location on the listing on the VRBO site and app is inaccurate, leading to a great disappointment on our end once we received the actual location 24 hrs before check-in. The location appeared to be within walking distance of Market Days (the reason for our visit). Unfortunately, the location was actually just under 4 miles away, on the other side of town, on a fairly busy highway.To VRBO's credit, they did what they could (a small credit to our account). The local property management company took no responsibility or positive action.Again, the property itself is great - just know that it is about 3 miles outside of Wimbelry on Old Kyle Rd.

Comfortable Cabin

We went when there was a drought so few flowers or green grass. Check out overall conditions before going! The property is acceptable for the price. It was well supplied with kitchen equipment. The best thing about the cabin was the comfortable beds with nice sheets. In the photos, there’s a nice creek behind the cabin. The cabin next door had a paved path to it which ours didn’t have.
