We reserved the Lake House in order to attend the Wurstfest and to visit friends we have in the area. The price for the rental was quite reasonable and the the Cottage was everything it advertised to be. It is a one-bedroom, old Texas-style cottage with hardwood flooring and some modern renovation like a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There is no WIFI but the cell signals on Verizon and ATT were strong so this wasn't an issue. There is no cable TV but there is a DVD player with a small selection of movies to watch. We didn't come to watch TV but it would have been nice if there was at least the option to watch local broadcast TV with morning coffee or late night before bedtime. I spotted a Keurig machine in the photos before making the reservation so we brought keurig coffee pods only to find a drip-coffee machine. This was a minor issue but caused no actual problem since we simply cut-open the pods and used them as ground coffee. The views of the lake and Guadalupe River were outstanding from the cottage and guests should know that the lake is full again. Owners should update the information to reflect this. The manager was very helpful with providing location information and how to find the property, which isn't very straightforward. Overall, we loved the Lake House cottage and look forward to returning again in the future. As New Braunfels accommodation costs continue to explode, it is nice to find such a nice place that is reasonably priced.
