"We had a lovely visit in Wilton and were granted the special privilege of seeing and hearing the waterfall and associated pools fill up with water overnight due to heavy thunder showers after a long dry spell. Magical, indeed.Cottage is a special little place! We hope to be back at another time of year."

"It was a great place for what I needed. I was working in the area and it was a great quiet location, with nice scenery. The place was clean and spacious, with plenty of space to cook. I would definitely stay here again."

"Sportsman's Pond and Blueberry Cottage provided the ideal location for disconnecting from the noise and busyness of every day life. The pond was beautifully serene, without outboard motors, jet skis, etc. The fall colors were gorgeous. The hosts provided every sort of watercraft one might want. I kayaked everyday exploring the shoreline and watching for birds. "This is a lovely cabin and the owners seem nice, but it needs a new cleaning plan. After arriving to a dirty microwave, dog food on the floor, a dirty floor, a moldy shower curtain, cobwebs over the table, etc… I did some digging on other sites to see people’s comments and they were the same. The owner’s response to them and to me was that it was professionally cleaned (if this is true, they need to be fired) and that he would talk to them. Well, nothing seems to have changed since the same...

"We moved 27 years ago from NH. John was born in New London and raised in Sunapee. We raised our 2 kids in Henniker. Rodd cottage made an amazing place to bring our family together. Peaceful and relaxing. Lots of things to do too.Thank you to the Rodd family for sharing."
