We stayed at Hotel Meade twice previously, about 20 years ago, and the hotel is not as nice as I recall. Rooms could use updates and the outdoor patio area should be better maintained. "We arrived late night and were greeted by staff. We checked into our room and discovered the tv remote didn’t work. We went downstairs to have breakfast which was very little to choose from. The bowls of tangerines and apples had a sign on them that said fruit not washed. No sink around to wash them. We asked the man at the desk to please fix our tv remote and asked for fresh towels. We left for the day. We left our sign on the door that said please make up room. Got back to our room around 8...

"The room resembled a crime scene with blood on the bed, what appeared to be vomit on the floor, among other bodily fluids. The smell was horrible. The door to the room was left wide open, as were the windows with no screens."
