"Bad check-in experience. The receptionist was lazy, didn't tell us anything about the hotel, didn't offer us the possibility of a paid upgrade, didn't want to sell us the beverage package. Regarding the room, it clearly needs an urgent renovation. Old bed, old bedding, old tv. 3 star hotel standard. I can't understand how this hotel has the Shangri-la flag. As for the staff, very kind."

It was perfect for our pre outer island departure the next morning and definitely would have been suitable for a longer stay. 2 minutes walk to the port was super handy and the staff were amazing with our numerous questions and requests. "GREAT place to stay, we have stayed here atleast 4-5 occasions and it’s always good, The staff super friendly with Hasina taking care of us along with her staff. Rooms are clean and with plenty of space for family of 4-5. Huge pool and they just opened a chill restaurant at the hotel w/drinks available for all. Close by pizza, stir fry, gas station and covient supermarket. It’s a relax spot to hang out for a day or 2, btw there is a jetty within walking distance to getup close for viewing...
