"Grounds are beautiful. Almost every room has a fairly open view of the ocean. There are plenty of chairs spread around the grounds for relaxing with a glass of wine. The rooms are tastefully done and have very comfortable beds and linens. The restaurant attached to the property has a somewhat limited menu but everything we got tested great. Hope to come back again someday! "
"Karen at the desk was awesome. It was my wife’s birthday and we forgot the champagne back home. Not only did Karen suggest a bath bomb that my wife loved, she had some great selections of champagne on hand! I picked out a bottle and Karen brought it up to the room on ice with the bath bomb gift wrapped! Oh…. all while keeping it a secret from my wife so it looked like I planned it for months! "Spent one night at the Mendo Bungalows. The unassuming building sits up on a hill with a nice break in the trees to view the ocean. But stepping into the actual bungalow was a real treat. Looked like it had just recently been built/renovated. Plenty of space, lots of plugs for devices, modern TV with streaming, ample shower, super comfy bed.

"We love the 2 big rooms connected as one big house. We love the woody property that is very close to downtown Mendocino. Very quiet and safe. The unit that we got needs a few upgrades. The carpet has to go. The other units have hardwood floors. The wifi is weaker at night, u cant watch anything. Same goes w the cellphone signal, cant make a phone call not surf the internet even if you used your own data. The staff were very friendly and front desk personnel were quick to response.
