"The hotel was not as the reviews stated. The hallways had an awful stench and the rooms needed to be updated and cleaned better."

"There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, and in the refrigerator. The refrigerator had a strong mold smell. Water was leaking down bathroom wall from upstairs bathroom. First room they placed us was so strong of cigarette smoke we asked for another room. They had to replaced the air conditioner twice before they had a working unit. Which barely okay on hot day it struggled to keep room cool. Some of the linen had dark stains or worn out patches. The sink drain was leaking, the corner chair...

"Staff was courteous . Physical building needs updating and maintenance.Our room didn’t have the toilet rod to hold the toilet paper. We asked for one and was told maintenance would remedy it the next day. Went all weekend with the toilet paper on the counter. Walking down the hall the picture that covers the utilities was hanging open unable to close. Overall this hotel is tired and needs a make over and attention. It is in a convenient location but I doubt I’ll be staying there again."

"The accommodation was fine, nothing but the expected, the room was clean but no breakfast nor water available in the rooms. Not close to the close to the city center but I would recommend and stay again if needed."

"didn’t have a clean room upon arrival and then got put in a single bed room when we needed two beds. they couldn’t get us a room for a while and mind you check in was a 3pm.. around 8pm we decided just to go to another hotel. this place was so dirty and had people living there. not safe. staff was pretty helpful in getting us a refund which we appreciate"

"The heat didn't work. The light fell out of the bathroom ceiling. It didn't seem like they cleaned it between guest. Stains on the bed and dead bugs in the floor and on the wall. The neighborhood wasn't the best and people were smoking on the balcony right outside of the room. Checked out early and will never stay again."

"The staff at check-in was on a phone call the entire time while we checked in. The room had a smoke-like smell for a non-smoking room. The shower/bathtub was dirty-looking. The tv and fridge were plugged into a power strip that had to be stretched and plugged into the wall upon us getting into the room."

"Room (a/k/a house/condo/townhouse - don’t know how it is classified), was okay. Not going to say good or bad, just what I took note of. The gated parking is not for guests. Guests park on the street which is visible from house/condo/townhouse if you stretch your neck. You can enter from garage -that is in the alley. You can never park in front of the unit. Park on side street and walk past 9 units to the front door. Garage holds 2 small cars. If I’m allowed pics, I will submit them. Not allowed...

"I’ve stayed at the Gilmore twice now and it will be my go to place to stay in Nashville. It’s located in a great area. The staff is very friendly and super helpful."
