Nashville s most unique vacation rental is situated smack dab in the middle of historic Music Row. Nestled in the same building that houses Jays Place recording studio,

Chateau on the Row offers a music themed vacation experience that is second to none. Owner Jay Vernali welcomes you to be part of the “mix” that includes a free recording studio tour.

Situated within walking distance of Nashville s ultra hip Hillsboro Village, Vanderbilt University and Belmont University, Chateau on the Row is located within seconds of some of the top restaurants, night spots, museums and the historic independent movie theater The Belcourt

Some of the artists that have graced the halls of this building include Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Frankie Ballard, Jewel, Dobie Gray, Chet Atkins, Sam Moore and Shel Silverstein to name a few.

Because Chateau on the Row is housed over a working recording studio you will occasionally be privileged to hear some musical magic as it is being born! No worries: at night The Row transforms into a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Wonderful place, love all of the music themed touches! Host Jay was great, gave us a tour of his music studio which was so much fun. If you’re a music fan, this is the place to stay! We will definitely visit again!

OUTSTANDING

Outstanding feels like an understatement! This location is perfection, its so rich with music history!! The space was perfect for my fiancé and I, the decor was well thought out and fun! The fireplace was very nice ambiance at the end of every night paired with a glass of wine. Its perfect for couples. My Fiancé often wants to travel with his acoustic guitar, but doesn’t because its bulky and often not convenient. So the fact that theres a Martin guitar there for guests to play was FANTASTIC!!!! (We opted not to do a rental car, as everything we wanted to do was a short uber ride away, but there was ample off street parking if we had. We went to the Grand ole opre, broadway and the Ryman). The host Jay is the best!!!! He’s a wealth of knowledge and an awesome person. We got to tour the recording studio down stairs, which was really cool. He’s been part of so much music history. Plus he got us reservations at Skull’s on short notice and let me tell you- THE FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT IS SENSATIONAL!!!!!! We can’t wait to go back to nashville and will 1000% staying at Jay’s Place again!!!!! Thanks again Jay!!!!

My husband and I stayed at this property for our first trip to Nashville. We loved the location even though it was a bit far from Broadway because we could walk, and see the surrounding neighborhood and music studios. The Chateau was clean and had a great music theme. We felt at home there. Jay was amazing! He got us reservations at Sinatra which allowed us to see his show. It was fantastic . He also gave us a short tour of the property upon arrival. Thanks Jay! Keep playing!

ELO weekend

We came to Nashville to go to the ELO concert at the Bridgestone Arena. We wanted to stay in a different area than we normally do, and this place was perfect! Jay is an incredible host and there for any needs you might have. We will definitely stay here again!!

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay with Jay! He was able to get us reservations for the Skull's Rainbow Room for our last night and it was a wonderful experience. We definitely will be staying with him again next time we are in town. =)

40th Bday Celebration

My husband and I came down to celebrate his 40th birthday. Jay's place was the perfect location! Located on Music Row, it was a quiet area but still close enough to all the excitement! If we ever come back down, we will be staying here!

This place was exactly as described! Clean and very nice! The bed is super comfortable and Jay was an amazing host! Very accommodating and easy to communicate with! I came with my 10yr old daughter for a cheer competition and felt very safe! Thanks again, Jay! Would definitely book again!

Just stay here!

This was the perfect little apartment, clean, charming and located close enough to all the things Nashville has to offer without being too close to the madness that is Broadway. We came down for a concert, and hit a few other must dos while down here, the apartment was on a busier street but you couldn’t tell once you were inside. Jay was always available via text although everything was so great we didn’t need to contact him during our stay. We will definitely book here again when we come back down.

Honestly quite perfect!

Everything for a perfect Nashville stay was at the Chateau. Accommodations were awesome! Clean, stylish, and quiet. I felt very safe at all times of the day and late into the night. The location is perfect with walkable dining options, shopping, and coffee shops. Only a $7 Urber ride to other super cool neighborhoods. Our host, Jay, was great. He gave us information on area sites that made our stay in Nashville very memorable. We will definitely be back for another stay at the Chateau!! Thanks Jay!!

I found Jay’s Place reading reviews for places to stay in Nashville, he had so many 5 star reviews that we booked it immediately! To say Jay is an awesome host is an understatement! Everything was super clean and cozy and the music memorabilia that this studio was decorated in was beyond charming! My husband was absolutely thrilled to sit in on a recording that Jay had going on our last day! Bed was a king and so comfortable and the big walk in shower was stellar. I can whole heartedly recommend this experience and place to all! Thank you Jay ❤️

Jay met us upon arrival and was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. From the moment of booking to our departure, his attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was evident. Moreover, the surrounding area offers a plethora of activities and attractions to explore. Many great restaurants, The Row, The Well Coffeehouse and others, were close by and in walking distance. Jay was an excellent host. Not only was his property spotless, but he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was so easy to communicate with. Music City Gem

Great place in a quiet neighborhood on music row. If you’re into country music and its history, this is the place to stay. Jay’s place is clean, bright, and has all the amenities you could ask for. I’m 62 and walked into the downtown area daily discovering hidden gems of restaurants, coffee houses, and country music history along the way. Close to Belmont & Vanderbilt University. For a great breakfast, try the Pancake Pantry. You can’t beat Jay’s Place!

Exceptional!

The property and host were amazing!!! The first day there, Jay gave us a tour of his studio and recommended several places to visit based on our musical and food tastes. All excellent choices! He got us into a fantastic restaurant where he plays on weekends. It is a nice quiet location and we were able to walk to most places within half an hour. Also loved the music themed decor! We will definitely stay there again if we return and will recommend it to anyone we know heading that way. Thanks Jay!
