"The host was quick in responding to my inquiry so I can finalize my last minute 2 day trip for two family total 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids).The place was very homey as pictured. Everyone love the island kitchen table where we prep our food and dine around the table. It would be a dream come true if there are stools or chairs so we can sit dining around the kitchen island table.We will definitely rebook and refer our friends to consider this homey house.Sadly we have to leave broken hearted...

"Nice place. Kitchen well appointed and close walk to the beach. The soundproofing in the unit isn't very good, but the beds are good and overall cleanliness is very good."

"We stayed at the Urban Retreat while visiting family in Nanaimo. The host Kathy was quick to respond. Check in was quick and convenient. The unit was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommended! "

"Canceled reservation on our way there They wrote message as if I canceled booking. I didn’t The day previously I sent my picture, license and signature. I obviously was planning on coming. Myself and my party were very disappointed as we had to make last minute alternate arrangements My credit card didn’t work, but I was not informed. I was not asked for an alternate method of payment"

"Property was great. Comfortable with a nice kitchen and a beautiful view. Was not expecting the stairs up to the main floor but that wasn't a problem for us. Also close to basic stores for groceries and that sort of thing."
