"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! "Fantastic! If you are looking for the plushest hotel with facilities everywhere … then not for you. If you want a beautiful traditional ryokan with access to the baths, clean showers and great service where the staff go extra without even asking then stay here. As a father and two sons staying in a traditional room we had a great time. "
