"We stayed here for the eclipse and really enjoyed the stay. The host is fantastic with excellent communication as we brought our dog and she also has dogs but it was easy to arrange different times to have the dogs out. Her dogs are super friendly, I think my wife wanted to take them home with her. She also has horses which are always a pleasure to see. The cabin is small but really nice. It’s decorated well with lots of amenities. It very comfortable and the Wi-Fi works great for the kids....

"We went to Texas for the eclipse 2024 and had a wonderful time at the retreat. Jennifer was super nice and even provided us with two pairs of eclipse glasses, as well as with delicious snacks in the morning. We watched the eclipse together with her and other guests. We got lucky with the cloud coverage and had an amazing time. Our room was at the back of the retreat. It was super cozy and extra quiet. We would absolutely stay there again!"

"We didn't get to take full advantage of the surrounding area of our cabin as it stormed all day Saturday. But, we had a great weekend. It was myself and 2 granddaughters, age 19 and 16. I carried food to cook on the grill, but because of the rain, couldn't do that. The cabin was equipped with 2 gas burners that made it easy to cook indoors. I have been to other cabins in the woods and could not use our phones or watch tv. This cabin had a tv with vcr and video cassette player and the wifi worked...

"It was just close enough for me to the shopping venue. Everyone there was helpful. Food was very good on site. Cabin was very clean & comfortable. Loved the overall grounds of the property, well kept. I can’t wait to come back to try out their next adventure, ie Tree house cabin & covered wagon cabins. They looked like so much fun."

"It was very clean and the staff was very professional. Check in was quick and efficient. The breakfast was really good. The only thing bad that I found was the AC was making a busy signal sound when we got in out room but they quickly got it fixed. The commode in our bath room had to have come from a children's school or they really mis-ordered. It was the smallest commode I have seen outside of a elementary school.
