"HK is stellar. The kitchen was excellent, room comfortable and the service like nothing Id had before. They let me late-check out on my last day at 6pm. It was my last day in India and I was short Rs200 for the airport taxi. So they offered me the taxi ride as a courtesy so that I wouldnt have to exchange an extra US$100. Ive never heard of anything like that. If you go to Amritsar, stay there!!!"

"Our stay was excellent! The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We needed a nut allergy accommodation and the attentiveness of the restaurant was overwhelming. "I booked deluxe room which was on 3rd Floor with City view and windows. Nice clean towels, bathroom and beds linens. Aircon and hot water was available 24*7, ample car parking space, toleteries and hand-wash gel dispenser was available. Room size was very good, lift was operational, food was good, tea was excellent, staff was polite and generous. Travel desk for all local information was available."

"The location of the property is the best part about it, being near to all the famous places. The interior/decor is nice. But, the staff service is not good. We came back after four hours and our room was still not cleaned. The Internet for the TV did not work for the whole stay. Nobody came to check it despite multiple calls."

"It was a great stay, good air conditioning and food options (including options if you do not feel like having indian food). The hotel has been well furbished and all fittings work well (other indian hotel ive been to usually had something faulty or not well installed) and were well kept, such as taps being polished well. Staff were great, fruendly laundry and housekeeping. The general manager was pleasent and welcoming, he went over and beyond as a host. I liked the hotel was so near to the...
