Seasider 302 is a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath oceanfront condo located 0.6 miles north of Garden City Pier. This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with a dishwasher and microwave as well as a large private and furnished oceanfront balcony, washer, dryer, and central heat and air conditioning. Two color TVs (cable), DVD player, Wi-Fi, and telephone are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one queen and two twin-sized beds. Elevator. Parking is limited. No trailers. No golf carts. No pool. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 4

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived at Seasider 302 condo, it took us 45 minutes to find parking. The elevator was not working so we were looking at carrying all of our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Our son is special needs and could not make the way up to the condo using the stairs. We contacted the emergency phone number for the realty office and they had to leave a message for maintenance. We tried to rent a motel room for the night. By this time it was going on 11:30 pm. No vacancy anywhere that we tried. It took three of us to help my son up the stairs to the 3 floor. He struggled but made it. Garden City Realty office called the next morning to check on everything. They were kind enough to reimburse us for 1 nights stay.. We had a very hard time finding parking. When we started to leave on Saturday morning around 8 am we had truck issues. Finally found a Ford dealer 30 minutes away to fix it. The computer on the truck was damaged and we could not get the cover on the truck or the tailgate to open up. It was locked by the computer. So we could not load it. My husband left around 8:30 am to get it fixed. I called the office at 9 when they opened up to request a late check out. I was first told no, they let me check out at 11am. I told them I knew he could not make it back by 11 and I asked for 12 pm to check out. Lady was rude and said no. Around 10 am I called housekeeping and was told no again. If I was not out by the time housekeeping arrived I would have to move all our items out and my special needs son snd I could wait outside in the hall. Housekeeping came around 11 and I explained my situation to them. I explained my sons condition and they called someone. After getting off the phone I was told to get my things out. I practically had to drag the heavy items out while the housekeeping stood and watched. I stood with my son outside in the heat trying to keep him calm. I will never use this realty office again. Spoke with Danielle on Monday. Said “ they were not thinking

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was dirty. The electric sockets did not work in the bathrooms. Shower curtain in master bath was badly mildewed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always come here for vacation with the family and have stayed in this condo before. The staff is always fantastic. The condo is in dire need of some TLC - the carpets were worn and dirty, there ware nail clippings on the loveseat, foyer not mopped, bathroom sinks didn't drain and toilets kept running, duct tape on thee toilet seat, and there was sand in the twin beds. And worst of all the elevator was torn up 4 out of 7 days (and 54 steps is a long haul especially with groceries). No mention of compensating me for the inconveniences. The deck was fantastic and the best part of the condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at the condo all the dirty sheets and towels from the previous renter were piled on the floor. I tried calling office to have someone come and pick them up but it was after 5pm on a Saturday and with Memorial Day on Monday we didn't know when we would be able to contact someone. So, my wife washed them herself. Also, There was a a lot of sand in the entry way and kitchen so we had to sweep and vacuum upon arrival as well.

When taking a shower the hot water ran out after two showers so the rest of the family had to take cold showers.
