House was cozy, covered porch was wonderful on rainy days, kids and dogs loved the creek. Property is private, plenty of room to walk the dogs, there’s a fire pit out back that would be awesome (we just had too much rain to try it out), and we saw some super cute baby deer! House is only 10-15 min from restaurants, Walmart, etc, but far...

"A nice peaceful stay with family. My favorite spot was the screened porch, which offered a bug-free place to see and hear the river. One thing I appreciated was that it offered seating for as many people as it slept, which is not always the case in some places; it has a nice long table for dining and games, and plenty of chairs around the fire pit."

"Property manager was very accommodating and the property is located very close to everything! The river is in the back so beautiful and the cabin is spacious, clean, nicely equipped with everything you need. We will come back ! "

"We had the best time at Retreat 52! I took 5 "kids" (20, 18, 15, 15, 13) for a long weekend, visiting from Illinois. Things we loved:Hot tub was clean and nice.Fire pit area well lit and perfect for smores!Plenty of room in the house.Felt safe. Kids enjoyed playing pool (first time for a couple).Overall cozy feel.The porch was amazing!Host was helpful and responsive!Other notes:Would have liked to be able to see the golf course.Not recommended for anyone with trouble with stairs, lots of stairs...

"Awesome location, right on the river and less than a mile walk to the heart of Helen. If you like tubing, it is right next to the tubing company. The house is beautiful and furnishings match the wine theme. It was great to sit on the back deck and listen to the river at night. We had one, minor issue when we arrived and the owner was very responsive and got it fixed quickly. I hope to stay here again soon."
