"The room itself was fine. All I needed was a bed , tv and shower. It just was real old and dirty, and broken. My room smelled like smoke (cigarettes) so I asked the front desk to please get me a new room. He was very sweet and accommodating, but the second room he showed me, smelled even worse. "When I arrived at 6 PM, the staff was busy, but I got in within a reasonable amount of time and they checked me in. The room is beautiful, and I love the decor. The bed slept really well and having a high-tech shower was great. Everything was so spacious and well laid out. "The Lodge is fairly remote and was very quiet when we visited in early June. The Lodge has a back patio that has plenty of seating and several tables. The patio overlooks a field and a forest. Everything was clean. Breakfast was available, but was very limited. We would probably stay here again."

"Everything was great, except the room's AC unit. It was rainy and humid during our visit and the AC unit could not remove any moisture. The room was so damp that the fresh, unused towels were damp."
