"We have stayed at several cabins in the Duck Creek area over the past 10-12 years, and this place was definitely one of, if not the best. There were plenty of rooms, and the layout was perfect. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom upstairs, which has an attached bathroom. Our older kids stayed on the main floor, and also had their own bathroom, and our teenage kids stayed in the basement in their own space and bathroom. The boys were super excited to play video games in the basement...

We arrived late in the day and really appreciated the nearby resort restaurant as we forgot to stop for food before we arrived at the house. Renters should be aware that food should be purchased on the way to the property. The owner pointed this out but we forgot."

"We’re very selective where we lay our heads down to sleep and I’m so happy we chose this place to stay. It was very clean, organized and comfortable. The only down side is the upstairs gets warm so word of advice when you first arrive…turn on the fans and open ALL the windows. By night time it will be cool enough to sleep and by morning you will be freezing so keep the extra blanket near by. This is if you’re like us and like it cold…if you like it warm when sleeping, keep the windows closed....

"It was a perfect stay for our family of four. The kitchen was wonderful & the kitchen was very well stocked. We were able to eat breakfast there, pack lunches for our hikes, & cook on the grill at night. The hot tub was a great way to end the day. The washer & dryer came in handy and it was nice to leave with clean clothes. It was enjoyable to see the horses, hear the roosters, & the view was magnificent! "This was such a beautiful spot for a quiet weekend getaway in the mountain air! We were able to access some great hiking right down the hill/road from the cabin, which was amazing! The cabin itself was super comfy and kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. Lots of patio space to relax and enjoy the summer weather. Check in was easy, even with a handful of turns down some gravel roads. DeAnn provided great info for the rental and surrounding area. We can't wait to come back!"
