"It was beautiful. The view was awesome. The room felt cozy, it smelled good and it was clean. The only issue I had was that they did not clear out the drawers near the bed, and my youngest child found some “unmentionables” in there. It was awkward nonetheless our trip was amazing and the staff was very kind."

"We had a great weekend stay at Moxy Virginia Beach. The hotel is right on the boardwalk, which works out great for having a beach day! The hotel had good amenities and the lobby has a fun atmosphere with games to pass the time and a cool bar overlooking the pool and the beach. Will definitely return again."

"The person at the front desk was rude to everything I asked. They charged me $35 for parking and I had to park three blocks away. There's no elevator, not all the rooms face the beach, and the hotel structure is old and rusty."

"Old hotel but renovated. The room was clean. Furniture had scratches. Pool was small. Beds were hard. Bathroom was updated. Great access to the boardwalk and beach!!! They let us stay parked there after checkout, long as we left before new checkins began."

While the gentleman at the front desk was kind, being asked multiple times if i was staying alone (despite my reservation stating this) was uncomfortable as a woman traveler. The room definitely had some maintenance needs. There was a hole in the ceiling next to the light by the shower, cabinets were mismatched and in disrepair. There was mold in the living area being blocked by a chair. The dresser had a drawer that didnt close and the inside was dirty as...
