"This was one of the best vacations our family had and it was majorly due to this property! The house was beautiful and had everything you could need. The loft upstairs was an absolute win for the kids. On the rainy day they all sat up there to play cards and our son thought it was so cool that he got to sleep up there! "Short fishing trip on Pine Creek, father and two sons. Cabin was really perfect, very clean and well kept. The surrounding property was incredibly well maintained. Beautiful spot. If we get back to this area will definitely try to stay here again."

"Two bedrooms and two full baths. Nice kitchen and wonderful screened in porch overlooking Pine Creek. A bit too chilly during my stay to sit out there. Only two negatives were the narrow driveway. I had a ford escape and barely fit. I thought the living room tv was hard to use. Cooking with gas rather than electric was a bonus . The thermostat worked great because it was chilly while I was there and I had to make the house a bit warmer. Thank you for everything!"

"Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!"

"This property was described perfectly. Beautifully crafted and well maintained. One small hiccup with the coffee maker-be sure to look at the listing as it's a Keurig-my fault I only looked at the main list of amenities and we were prepared for brewing coffee.
