The Country House is a newly renovated 2400 sq ft., 100 year old farmhouse with 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 2 large comfortable living spaces. The house sits on a beautiful 40 acre setting located just 5 minutes from downtown Mansfield, PA and less than 15 minutes from Historic Wellsboro, PA. The Country House has beautiful views of protected wetlands where there are migrating Canadian Geese, thousands of croaking peepers, wild turkeys, deer and black bear. Sitting on the front porch, looking at the tranquil setting will feel like days gone by.
The Carriage House is also located on the property. These 2 homes are located near each other which can both be reserved to accommodate large groups comfortably. The tranquil setting is wonderful for children…ideal for sitting around the campfire in Adirondack style seating, star gazing, roasting marshmallows, catching lightening bugs, grilling out, picnic lunches and enjoying time with family and friends while having all the wonderful things to do in Tioga County in your back yard. The property is a perfect location for a large family get-a-way, a reunion or a corporate retreat when you rent both homes for a total of 9 bedrooms.
