"My girlfriend and i drove from Maine to Maryland and Maryland to Vermont. We get to the VRBO around 11:30pm, go get food and come back. The way we were supposed to enter wasn't all the way clear but once i got inside, all the doors were wide open. We turned on all the lights as we were pretty worried but we went downstairs again and even though the house was supposed to be empty, we heard footsteps in the house walking back and forth. "The apartment is very cute, the kitchen has everything you need, and the beds are very comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews the bathroom is extremely small with the toilet in an awkward position and a sink so small you will get more water on your feet when washing your face. The two sets of stairs are very, very steep and small, and there is nothing blocking the opening at the top so not the best for very young children.
