"The hosts were very responsive to several special requests we had during our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and the setting on the river is perfect. The fish are plentiful and the wildlife is abundant, we saw the otters!"

"We came for my son’s 17th birthday week and it was perfect!!!! A few friends and some family so we needed plenty of room which it had. I cooked a lot and the kitchen was adequately stocked with kitchen ware for every big meal. The view was breathtaking and amazing. The property was quiet and relaxing with fun wildlife wandering around. I give this property a 5 star for sure. However to be 100% honest the driveway was not great for our boat. We have a nearly 26’ Centurion with a triple axle...

"Fabulous place, as advertised, highly recommend. We travel extensively, one of the if not the nicest place we have stayed. One note, as older adults we are not technically savvy, hence if you want to watch live television, I.e sports, it can be a challenge."

"The house we stayed in is very comfortable and clean. Lots of room. Our host is super nice and responsive. Locals are very friendly, always waved at us when we’re driving on the street. Lots of places to see close to Shingletown. Burney Falls, Cinder Cone, Manzanita, Helen and Emerald lakes. Lassen Volcanic hike, Bumpass Hell, mudpots, Subway lave tube etc."

"Another fabulous stay at Whitmore Falls, with perfect weather and the best hosts anywhere. We swam; we jumped; we lounged; we picked and ate fresh veggies from the garden; we fed the goats and horses; we stargazed; we slept soundly; and we enjoyed every minute! "

"We were heading north on a ten day tent camping trip and needed a place to stay for a night where the loaded down truck would be safe over night. So glad we found this place. My 10 year old son and I very much enjoyed the stay and it is as expected, super cool. Staying in a hobbit hole has now been checked of the old bucket list.
