"Worked great for our family vacation. Well stocked and clean rooms met all expectations. Nice view from the living room , but not really from other rooms which was fine. Only slight negative was upstairs people stomped around a fair amount. Otherwise a great choice for the banff area!"

"When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees.
