Guesthouses em Montanhas da Carolina do Norte, NC

"My family and I were unfortunately here for a funeral. This place was wonderful and clean, I felt at peace here when I needed a break from family. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone."

"What a great spot on the lake! We- and our two dogs- were in town while working on a construction project and this was the perfect spot for us. We all loved jumping in the lake at the end of our warm and dusty days- catching the sunset from the dock and the porch- and then waking up to the most glorious lake mornings. Clean, comfortable and convenient- and well-priced for the offering. Very easy communication with the owner. The dock must offer the absolute best view of the July 4th fireworks!"

"The place was well appointed and clean. The king size bed was fabulous! However, if you don’t like stairs, noise and no yard for your dog, don’t stay here. It’s by a hospital so lots of ambulances and helicopters. There is also someone in the neighborhood with a really loud motorcycle. Lots of road noise. There are earplugs and a sound machine but it was no match. The hot water takes a long time to come on so you end up washing with cold water. There are thirteen pretty steep stairs to get to...

"This sweet guesthouse is perfect! Our family of three enjoyed hiking, playing in the creek and lots of close fun activities. Would rent again and include the main house for the whole extended family:)"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location in reference to downtown was great. You are about 3 miles from downtown Highlands. The cottage was clean and well equipped for us. If you’re lucky, you may see wildlife like we did. A deer showed up one early evening and we were visited by 2 rabbits just about every day late afternoon. The only negative was that the mattress is super firm. So just be mindful of that if important to you. Overall, the stay was great, and we would highly recommend. Dana the...

"Great property in good shape."

"We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back for a second visit. One of our favorite things about this property is the sound of the river—it’s wonderfully loud and relaxing. Throughout the day, we enjoyed hearing the laughter and excitement of the rafters passing by, and it was equally enjoyable to sit in the chairs and watch fly fishermen cast their lines. The rental is located within a small gated area that feels private and secluded, even though the road is just beyond the tree line....

"The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. He had some food essentials in the refrigerator and had some scrumptious treats from the local bakery. The suite was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies and was...
