This 250-year old cottage is perfectly located in the heart of Moffat with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.. 1 step to entrance.

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Fuel for multi-fuel burner available locally. Telephone - for incoming calls only. On road parking. No smoking. Visit Scotland 4 Star.. Situated in the heart of the Victorian spa town of Moffat, this 250-year-old, stone, end-terraced cottage retains its traditional character and is an ideal base from which to explore the area. Horse riding, quad biking and golf are all available locally and the 7stanes offers world class mountain biking across Dumfries and Galloway, and the Scottish Borders. Rod hire is available in town for three fishing lochs at the Green Frog Centre on the edge of Moffat, which also has an adventure play park and animal farm. Edinburgh, Carlisle, Glasgow and the historic castles and abbeys in the borders are within an hour of Moffat. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Lovely little cottage in the centre of a quiet and cheery small town. Beautiful homely set up achieving 2 bedrooms and two loos. Despite small it has everything you need and it was a real pleasure to come home to each day after being out in the beautiful local countryside. No dedicated parking but plenty of on road space. Moffat is a lovely town with all you need and a great location. Highly recommend this cottage and the owner was lovely and friendly. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

My mum and I had a really lovely time in Moffat and in this cottage. It was very easy to feel at home here. The closeness of eating places was great as my mum is not very mobile. We visit Moffat every year and this is the best cottage we have rented in Moffat to date.

We visit Moffat every year and this is the best cottage we have rented in Moffat to date. Perfect location for secluded walks and a thriving high street with a large variety of eateries. The owner was very attentive during our stay and telephoned to check that we had everything we needed. Only thing I had trouble with was the single bed I slept in - more springs than mattress, but a new mattress would turn my cottage rating into a 10 out of 10!

Our second visit in two months, very pretty location, you are 5 minutes walk from the river and less. Than that to town. Good local shops, a co-op, outdoor shop, boutiques, grocers, green grocers, butcher etc plus tat shops and good pubs.

Clean to perfection.

Clean to perfection. This cottage has everything you need to call this a second home. Just 50 yards to shops, first class cafes and evening dining. Local walking and the Southern Upland Way passes through town. Great walk at the Grey Mares Tail. We visited Dumfries and 2 castles all within an hour drive. Edinburgh is only 90 minutes and a must visit.

A very nice cottage in Moffat

This is a very nice cottage in a great location. Turn left and you are 200 yards from the centre of Moffat and if you turn right you are 200 yards from a beautiful river walk, we saw deer and a dipper. The cottage is clean, comfortable and nicely set out. The kitchen works so you can make a decent meal, the sitting room is warm with a nice wood burner, the central heating is great. It’s a nice place to be and very quite at night. Moffat has good walking routes on its doorstep, very nice pubs, a good outdoor shop, it’s only an easy 90 minutes to Edinburgh and it’s just over the border with England so it’s easy to get to. We will certainly return, by the way the chip shop 60 yards up the road is very good indeed.

Kirsty Cottage is a fantastic base for a holiday in Moffat. A stones throw from the Main Street and all its amenities and yet only seconds from a beautiful river walk and well kept park. The cottage is spacious but also cosy with a wood burner in the living room. Lovely big TV for a night in. The cottage is well equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. Beds are very comfortable and the standard of cleaning is excellent. The additional toilet upstairs was really useful for a family of four. Would definitely recommend this gem of a cottage and all for a very reasonable price.

Great location, close to center, but very quiet. Well equipped with quality items. The bathrooms up and downstairs were a real bonus. Lovely fresh linen and towels. All you can wish for, we would recommend this cottage
