"Bon. Heureusement que cet hôte a des amis très sympathiques pour nous héberger à sa place, car sinon ce n'était juste pas possible. Nous avons attendu 2 heures avant l'arrivée de l'hôte, qui ne répondait pas aux messages que nous lui avons laissé sur Abritel. On pourrait se dire qu'après toutes ces galères, ça serait bon. Et bien non! Car cet hôte n'a pas été capable de nous donner le logement pour lequel nous avions payé, car je cite: "Il y a eu un problème de surbooking avec un autre site...

"After arriving at the villa, I was met by the host, who was welcoming and very courteous. The villa was spotless internally. The decor was very tired and rustic. The fridge was leaking and old. The garden, to say the least, was in an awful state. There were piles of wood everywhere, and a broken trampoline. Pallets and heaps of dead foliage were not only all over the grounds, but there was a disused fountain that was being used as a dumping pit. When questioned about the advertised HOT TUB and...

"Lovely house in the centre of Modica. Equiped with alle you need. Great view from the terrace. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. House lies in quiet street. Becuase the house lies somewhat higher than the street, some stairs are to be walked up. Even though it is quite busy on the streets, we could find a free parking place every day. Modica is also a great starting point for trips. e.g. Ragusa, Noto, Donnafugata."

"Beautiful large bedroom with wrap around terrace providing a gorgeous view of Ragusa Superiore that changes with the light. Giorgio was a wonderful host, fetching me when I got lost arriving and returning me to the parking lot when I left. He also has a lovely roof top trattoria off the beaten path but not very far from the lodging- Trattoria dell’Orlogia"

"Magnifique hébergement avec toutes ses terrasses et son très joli salon. Les chambres sont très confortables et toutes les commodités sont très bien et plus.
