Few people know that the word “beach” is actually an acronym for Best Escape Anyone Can Have! Admittedly, that word origin may not be exactly accurate but it is a truism that this Destin vacation rental carries the full meaning of “beach” throughout its quiet interior. Cool and calm, the tile floors and neutral coastal décor create an atmosphere where you don’t care if you have beach hair, where bills are inconsequential and all that matters is relaxing.

Apart from vacation rental necessities such as a stocked kitchen and laundry room, Hidden Dunes Cottage 226 has some added perks that will make you feel like you’ve found a perfectly whole shell on an already beautiful beach walk. A screened-in and furnished porch provides a tranquil spot for an evening soiree amidst the rustling magnolias and palmettos. Plus, one of Hidden Dunes pool decks is right around the corner and the professional tennis center is a few paces away on the same road as Cottage 226.

While this beach cottage is a peaceful retreat in and of itself, there are a lot of exciting things to do just outside the door when you’re in need of a little fun! Hidden Dunes resort has a very impressive tennis center with clay courts, a basketball court, a horseshoe court, a dog park, walking paths with water features and deeded access to one of the longest stretches of beach in all the area. Moreover, beyond the gates and even within walking distance lies Silver Sands Factory Stores, dozens of restaurants, supermarkets and beach shops.

Hidden Dunes offers six tennis courts with a Rubico Clay surface, which is the highest standard for clay tennis courts, and are maintained daily in order to provide the best playing conditions. Proper tennis attire is required to play and we encourage you to call ahead to schedule a match or take advantage of our clinics and private lessons. We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.

We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays. In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.
